Starbond Heavy Thin EM-40 adhesive is a very fast ethyl cyanoacrylate instant adhesive with olive oil viscosity for bonding various substrates or for repairing and strengthening the surfaces of porous materials or as a fast and hard surface modification of small objects. It can replace Starbond Super Fast Thin EM-02 despite its slightly higher viscosity. By applying several layers, sanding and subsequent polishing, EM-40 Heavy Thin creates a waterproof seal of the wood and a durable, hard surface adjustment. It can be ground and polished to a high gloss very well.

Using a reaction accelerator Starbond Accelerator the glue hardens within 10 seconds, it can be sanded after 2 minutes after application. This fast curing closes the surface very quickly and prevents excessive absorption and wasting of glue.
