Round HDPE Mold for Casting

Product detailed description

Round mold for repeated production of epoxy castings in combination with wood and other materials. Made of pure HDPE, perfectly demoldable, does not leak. No separators are needed. Suitable for clocks, side tables, etc.

Sizes: Circle diameter 30 cm and 40 cm. In the case of an atypical request, it is possible to negotiate and make it to measure.

Material: Pure HDPE

Preparation procedure for epoxy casting:

1. Place the mold on a flat, horizontal surface.
2. Insert the potted objects into the mold (if necessary, weigh them down or ensure that they do not float).
3. Cover with mixed and homogenized resin.

Demolding procedure:

1. After hardening, lightly tap the sides of the mold from the inside with a hammer. You should see how air gets between the casting and the side of the mold after tapping (when viewed from the outside of the whitewash).
2. Turn the casting upside down and release the casting from the mold by gently tapping and pressing.
